Introduction
"Earth Online - Life into RPG" ("this app") is developed by the Earth Online team ("we"). We understand how important your personal information is, and we strictly comply with the Personal Information Protection Law and the Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China.
The core design principle of this app is "your data stays on your device". We do not operate any backend servers, and we do not collect or upload your personal data.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information We Do NOT Collect
The following types of information are not collected, uploaded, or stored on any server:
- ❌ Personal identity information (name, phone number, email, etc.)
- ❌ Account login credentials (no account registration required)
- ❌ Your task content, completion records, and attribute data
- ❌ Achievement unlock records and level data
- ❌ Identity card images
- ❌ Device identifiers (IDFA / IDFV)
- ❌ Location information
- ❌ Contacts, photos, calendar, and similar data
All of the above data is stored only in the local SwiftData database on your device and never leaves it.
1.2 System Permissions We Do NOT Request
This app does not request the following system permissions:
- Camera / microphone
- Photo library / file access
- Location services
- Bluetooth
- Apple Health (HealthKit)
1.3 Notification Permission (Local Notifications)
This app requests local notification permission (alert + badge + sound) for the following purely on-device features:

Important:
- All notifications are scheduled and triggered locally by iOS on your device, never through any remote server
- This app does not use APNs (Apple Push Notification service); delivery works without a network
- When you first complete onboarding, the system shows a notification permission prompt where you can choose "Allow" or "Don't Allow"
- After granting, you can toggle each notification type on/off in the app's settings
- If you choose "Don't Allow", you can change it anytime in iOS Settings → Earth Online → Notifications
1.4 Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
This app offers membership subscriptions via Apple StoreKit 2. All payment information (card numbers, billing addresses, etc.) is handled directly by Apple; we have no access to and cannot obtain your payment information.
We only store your subscription status (whether you are a member) locally on your device to determine which perks to show.
1.5 Apple Intelligence (On-Device AI Storytelling)
This app's AI storytelling uses the Apple Intelligence framework and runs entirely on-device, fully offline. Generated stories are stored locally on your device.
- Hardware: iPhone 15 Pro or later.
- System: iOS 18.1 or later, with Apple Intelligence enabled in Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri.
- Regional restriction: Apple Intelligence is currently not available in mainland China.
On unsupported devices, stories are generated from a local preset template library, so the experience is unaffected.
This app does not connect to any cloud large-language-model API (such as OpenAI GPT, Google Gemini, etc.).
2. How Information Is Used
2.1 All data is processed and stored locally on your device, used to:
- Display your task list, level, and attribute radar chart in the app
- Calculate Buff multipliers based on the time system
- Show snapshot data in widgets and Live Activities
- Render your personal data when generating identity cards
- Schedule morning / bedtime / task reminders locally on your device
2.2 We do not perform: user profiling, personalized advertising, behavior prediction, data mining, or any form of automated decision-making.
3. Storage and Security
3.1 Storage location
- Core data is stored in the on-device SwiftData database (an Apple-native framework)
- Widget snapshot data is stored locally via the App Group shared container
- Notification preferences (toggle state, time settings) are stored in on-device UserDefaults
- App Group shared data is accessible only to this app and its Widget Extension
3.2 Data retention
- Data stays on your device until you manually delete it or uninstall the app
- Use "Clear all data" in app settings to wipe all local data in one tap
- Uninstalling the app also removes all local notifications automatically
3.3 Security measures
- Relies on iOS system-level security (sandboxing, data protection, encrypted file system)
4. Sharing and Transfer
4.1 We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal information to any third party.
4.2 The following are not considered sharing:
- You voluntarily share identity card images via the system Share Sheet
- You save app screens via the system screenshot / screen-recording features
4.3 We may disclose information if required by law or by mandatory government orders, but since we do not actually collect or store your personal information, this scenario will not occur.
5. Third-Party Services
5.1 This app does not integrate any third-party SDK (including but not limited to analytics, ad platforms, social sharing, maps, push services, etc.).
5.2 This app relies on the following Apple system services, whose privacy is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy:
- StoreKit (purchases & subscriptions): Apple Privacy Policy
- Apple Intelligence (on-device AI): all processing happens locally on the device
- UserNotifications (local notifications): all scheduling happens locally on the device
5.3 External links opened in-app via Safari View Controller (such as the terms page or subscription management page) are governed by their respective operators' privacy practices.
6. Children's Privacy
6.1 This app is intended for users of all ages, but children under 14 should use it with parental consent and supervision.
6.2 We do not proactively collect any user's personal information, so there is no collection of children's personal information.
6.3 If a guardian believes we have collected their ward's personal information (though technically impossible), please contact us via Section 8 and we will help you delete the local data on the device.
7. Your Rights
Under the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, you have the following rights. Please note that since we do not collect or store your personal information, how you exercise these rights differs slightly:
